FootFORT is designed to mitigate the seriousness of injuries to the phalanges (toes) and metatarsals from direct ball impacts. No product can prevent all injuries.
 
Each FootFORT package includes two carbon fiber "foot toppers" for metatarsal protection, four (because everyone has at least two pair of competition shoes) carbon fiber toe caps for phalanges protection, one 0.75oz tube of Barge cement, an applicator/spreaders, a pair of Latex-free gloves, and instructions. SHOES NOT INCLUDED!
 
Toe caps are PERMANENTLY attached to competition shoes. Two pairs of toe caps are included because athletes tend to have at least two pair of competition shoes---one for indoor hockey and one for playing outdoors or one for short-fiber turf and one for grass/long-fiber turf. The single pair of "foot toppers" can be easily transferred between shoes as the laces are used to hold them in place. In our testing toe caps fit U.S. men's shoe sizes 6-14.
